So it’s 3:30 in the morning and I’m still up. I’m tired, but my legs are bothering me (nerves from my car wreck and subsequent back surgery) and I’m out of meds. So I’m drinking alcohol as that helps calm the nerves down (I wish we had medical marijuana in Texas as that would really help).
In the meantime… some music. Most of the times I concentrate on synth-based music (Electro, EBM, Futurepop, Synthpop, Synthwave, etc), but tonight I’m going to tell MediaMonkey to ignore all those genres and play non-synth music.
I saw this band in Birmingham, Alabama a few years ago when they played with IAMX.

One thing that having to rent a car when I need it now and then has proved to me: car seats are more and more uncomfortable for people with lower back issues, especially if you have had surgery or damage in the lumbar area (L5/S1). Hyundai used to have good seats, but now they don’t. I may have no choice but to buy a really old used piece of shit and just nickle and dime myself to death taking care of it.
That being said… songs about cars and driving it is…

Apparently my body and brain think I’m still in Mountain time and I should wake up at 0600. While something startled me awake (probably a jackass slamming his car door), I couldn’t get back to sleep. So here I am… awake. Wanting sleep…

While traveling is always fun, it’s always great to finally get home. It was a long trip going after the monsoon with mostly a bust. A really cool storm in the distant south of Show Low, AZ and some rain and rainbows in Albuquerque. But the scenery of the desert and mountains definitely compensated for the general lack of storms. Of course AZ lit up after we left. LOL
So I’m home and some home music is good today…
I get to see these guys on 7/29 in Houston!
